1. Can a non-US resident form a Wyoming LLC?
Yes. Non-US residents can form a Wyoming LLC entirely online without visiting the US. You do not need a US visa, residency, or SSN.
2. How much does it cost?
WyomingLLC charges $397 for the full package: LLC formation, registered agent (1 year), operating agreement, EIN, and bank account introductions to Mercury, Relay, and Wise.
3. How long does the full process take?
LLC formation: 24 hours. EIN: 8-10 business days. US bank account setup: 8-10 business days after EIN. Total: roughly 3-4 weeks from order to fully operational.
4. What's included in the $397 service fee?
Wyoming LLC formation, registered agent (1 year), operating agreement, EIN application, and direct introductions to Mercury, Relay, and Wise for your business bank account. The Wyoming Secretary of State filing fee is included in the all-inclusive $397 price.
5. Do I need to visit the US?
No. The entire process is remote. You apply online with your passport and we handle everything else.
6. Do I need an SSN?
No. We obtain your EIN from the IRS without an SSN, using Form SS-4.
7. Do I need an ITIN?
Only if you sell on PayPal (which requires SSN or ITIN for verification) or file personal US taxes. We offer ITIN as a $297 separate add-on. Amazon sellers, Stripe users, and Shopify users do not need ITIN.
8. Do I owe US taxes as a non-US resident?
Generally no, unless you have Effectively Connected Income (ECI) from a US trade or business. Single-member foreign-owned LLCs must file IRS Form 5472 + pro forma 1120 annually. We have a guide on this.
9. Do I need to file a BOI report?
Per FinCEN's March 26, 2025 Interim Final Rule, domestic US entities including Wyoming LLCs are exempt from BOI reporting. We will update you if this changes.
10. What are the year 2+ costs?
Registered agent renewal (we charge competitive rates) and optional annual compliance services (Form 5472 + 1120 filing for $99 add-on per year, or refer to a CPA for full tax filing).
